Francesca Orelli is a collage artist born and raised in Rome. She studied Arts at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
She graduated from Tufts University, focusing on South American Cinema.
She lives and works in Rome. She spends time in flea markets and second hand dealers, searching for old magazines and scrap paper for hand cut collages.
Limited editions of fine art prints are available upon request.
The collages are all hand cut and assembled with archival glue. Paper source: old magazines, booklets, postcards, maps, books fallen into disuse, stickers, leaflets, posters and any interesting paper found. Only the live view of the piece shows the different textures of the artwork.
